If we all agree that we are at the very core of the 4th industrial revolution then our attention should be on life changing innovations such as the Application Programming Interfaces and Internet of Things.

With all of the interesting advantages that comes with the Internet of Things enjoyed in Agriculture (IoA) such as being able to get signals on mobile phones when the water level in the cattle ranch is below normal, it is good to know that all of the signals provided are connected together along with their various components, processes and data through the Application Programming Interfaces.

A Tech farmer can know what the extent of rainfall is going to be like tomorrow through his API getting information from a weather forecast website. Also, to know what crops are high in demand for the now and also for the future, the tech farmer can know what is happening in the crop markets by connecting through the API so as to make the best decisions for his work.

The fascinating thing about the Internet of Things in Agriculture and Application Programming Interfaces is that when the Internet of things provide you with the needed signals and data, the information are connected through the API and through the API, you can make better decisions and choices.
